At Bertrand-Johnson Acoustics, we firmly believe in the importance of sharing knowledge with workers in order to improve the commitment and results of the hearing loss prevention program.

Recognized standards and principals such as CSA, OSHA and the Règlement sur la Santé et Sécurité au Travail (RSST) all share in their writings the importance of training and keeping workers informed about the prevention of hearing loss caused by noise exposure.

To this end, we have created a range of solutions tailored to our customers' needs. Our basic awareness sessions last 45 minutes and include the following topics:

Hearing health awareness

  • Noise in the working environment
  • How the ear works
  • Occupational deafness in figures and action
  • Understanding hearing screening results
  • The importance of wearing hearing protection properly
  • Shared responsibility between employers and employees
  • Question and answer session

This training is sometimes shortened to 30 minutes to suit the needs of certain customers who are unable to release their workers for a longer period of time.

Educational capsules

In some cases, we adapt the content of our training courses in the form of 7.5 or 15-minute educational capsules to enable some of our customers to complete the awareness-raising themselves.

Customized training

When it's time to take an in-depth look at hearing health issues in your workplace, rely on our customized training services. These sessions, lasting 2, 3, 4 hours or more, are fully adapted to your reality and to the specific challenges of your hearing loss prevention program.
