Warranty on Our Earplugs

At Bertrand-Johnson Acoustique (BJA), we're proud to offer you high-quality hearing protection. Our products are designed with carefully selected materials and a rigorous manufacturing process. That's why we offer a comprehensive warranty covering material, silicone and manufacturing defects.

Comfort Warranty

Coverage period: 90 days from date of shipment or delivery.

Scope: This warranty covers adjustments necessary to ensure optimal fit and effective noise reduction. It applies to problems related to the comfort or effectiveness of hearing aids.

Initial use: Wear your earplugs daily for the first two weeks to help them adapt. Use the lubricant supplied for the first 10 days to facilitate insertion and improve comfort.

Discomfort: If you experience discomfort after this adjustment period, please contact a BJA operator to return your earplugs with your contact details and the completed adjustment form. We will evaluate your return and make the necessary adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.

Manufacturing warranty

Period of coverage: 3 years from date of invoice.

Scope: This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that could affect the functionality or quality of the hearing aids.

Defects: In the event of cracks, sealing problems or defective parts, please contact a BJA operator to return your plugs with your contact details and the completed adjustment form. We will inspect the plugs to determine if the defect is related to manufacturing and, if so, we will repair or replace them at no extra charge.

Exclusions

Comfort problems: If the discomfort is due to a change in the shape of your ear or to weight variations, this is covered by the Comfort Guarantee (within 90 days of invoicing). Beyond 90 days, these cases are not covered by the Manufacturing Guarantee.

Damage caused by the customer: Damage resulting from misuse, inadequate maintenance or deliberate modifications is not covered by the Manufacturing Warranty.

Limitation

The Manufacturing Warranty covers the replacement cost of hearing aids for three years. However, accessories such as cords, pouches or acoustic filters are excluded from this warranty.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Additional notes

Weight changes: Significant weight variations may affect the fit of the plugs. If this occurs, a new ear impression may be required.

Replacement requests: After the first 18 months, in the event of loss or significant changes, we recommend a new ear impression to ensure the best possible fit.
